For the middle of May to report to you that the surface temperature
of lake ontario is 43.0 degrees. If all factors of our weather pattern
stay the same, I forsee us trolling the surface for rainbow trout and
coho salmon. We are taking some chinook salmon, [ King ] anywhere
from the surface to 75' down. The kings that my passengers have caught
weigh between 12 and 18 lbs. There is still plenty of brown trout action
along the shoreline of the lake. So if your reading this update report
call for a date to come and catch some of the action.
